My Dear Sister

It is with great pleasure we acknowledge the receival of your kind presents on the 13th of February and to say we were pleased is to say little of what we really felt. we were all very pleased with our own. My frock fitted quite well. My Aunt says she will keep her box as long as she lives- I think we shall all do the same – we shall keep the gifts because we love the giver. My Father likes his snuff very well; Molly, Sam and all of us return our thanks — we do not know at present where Betsey Clarkson is, I think at Manchester – we are going in a few weeks and then I will give her your present. I am sure she will be much gratified to know that you think of her – poor girl she has known a deal since you left here – I drank tea the other day with Mrs Munn both she and Francis enquired very kindly about you and Mr Waters they desired me the next time I wrote to you their best respects. Frances says she thinks of you very often. We are sorry to hear that Mary is not well. We are all well at present. My Father, Aunt, Molly Sam, the Nurse, your Brothers and myself send our best wishes for your health and happiness and believe me to be very sincerely

Your Affectionate Sister
