My Dear Sister
I am very much obliged to you for your kind present, I hope I shall sometime have it in my power to make you a return. I thought I would not lose this opportunity of writing to you. I am very glad that you and Mr.Waters are in good health as it leaves us all at present except my Brother Edmund who still continues very poorly, he has not been down stairs for above a week. we have sent your long things as you desired, little Jane is very well she as been Inoculated and was very well all the time, you would be quite delighted if you was to see her she does look so pritty, the Hat which you sent her is a great deal to large but we have got her one made a very nice one, my Aunt as [has] sent you a seedcake of her own making which she hopes you will like, we have also sent you some Flanel and a Cheese. Give my Aunt’s and my love to Mr Waters and accept the same yourself. Molly and Sam desire there respects to you and all my Brothers and Sister. since I began my letter my father thinks I had better send it by the post to inform you that he thinks of sending the things by Pickfords Boat as they will come much cheaper. the nurse desires to be remembered to you and Mr Waters you must escuse all blunders as it is my first
