My Dear Madam,

As it is upwards of a year since I had the pleasure of hearing from Mr Waters, or yourself, I can no longer delay writing to know the cause, & also if you wish me to remit you Twenty pounds as usual. I hope soon to hear of Mr Waters’s safe arrival in England, as I observe by the Public papers The Maidstone is ordered home. with every good wish
