Dear Waters,
According to your request I have enclosed a Bill for *Twenty Six pounds & fifteen shillings. Mr Smith paid me the interest since I received your letter. I am sorry to hear your speculation in Porton did not answer. I therefore am of opinion it is much more prudent for you to adopt the plan you propose before you are again called into service, which I suppose is not now very distant, do inform me the time in your next, & how soon it is probable you will be promoted to a Company. I am sure it will afford you pleasure to hear that Mrs Sillifants Health is
