Dear Janet

Father is writing to John and am going to try and write a few lines to you just to let you know that dont forget you but I am so weak that you will not be able to read such a scrawl. I had a nice visit with Mrs Archibald she told me all about you how good you were to John and about the baby that I almost fancied I was there to see you all. I am pleased to know that baby is growing so well

George Laura and the children are away to church I have not been to church all winter but will try when the weather gets warmer. we had a card from Millie telling of the new arivall if she keeps on as she has comenced she will soon have a house full. you better plan on a trip home before you get that many. Father is writing all the news and this is about all I can do now so you must excuse me when I get stronger I will try and write more, love to John and kisses for baby from Mother
