I received yours of the 8th inst and herewith send receipt. Robert did not get $200.00 in cash but he got 10 times that amount in property he did not want it in cash. I will send you his agreement and perhaps you can testify to witness hand writing you had better register the letter and send it back [bottom of page torn off]

it is a very backward spring on P.E.I. nothing sowed yet to speak of but seeding will be in full swing this week, I have had the grip but am nearly all right again, have a cough yet; but am working again. Love to all.
