Dear John and Janet

Just a few lines today to let you know how we are getting along Well we are having lovely fine weather and the folk are all busy with the hay George and Will Guild are working together this summer they cut down some large pieces some days and it is so fine and warm they put most of it in the same day. the girls at Wills are home on their vacation now and they are so handy they can run in any time. today they are going up to the pasture to get some blueberries they are not so plenty this year as they were last year but we will get some. our strawberries were a failure this year never had so few since we began to raise them. We will have a few apples and quite a lot of plums so we will have something to dip the spoon in

How is the babe growing how I would like to see her, and to see you all but it is hard to say if ever will my strength dont seem to come back much but I am not sick only weak the rest are all well but Muriel she is cutting some teeth and has canker sore mouth and cant eat it hurts her mouth so much. How are your crops looking this year the papers seem to say the wheat crop is going to be a great one this year are you having a man this summer of course you will the harvest Ex has not started yet. I dont hear of anyone going from about here. Stewart Bryson has gone back home, will be home by this time it just seems like a dream that he was here, you asked me one time where Alfred Redmond was he is in Edgerton he likes the place very much

Mr Sam Wilson is very low if he is living the Dr said Sunday he could not live many days I have not heard this morning from him. there is talk of some marriages in the near future but you do not know much about them so I wount write about them. now I will close with love to all from Mother
