Dear John
I am going to try and let that we have not forgotten you but we have been so buisy the last few weeks that I could not get time to write. I am very much pleased that you have got a companion and I can think of you as being comfortable it is a great pleasure to know that you have got such a nice one and we hope she may be spared a long time to you we wish you much hapiness and would like to have you come on to see us when it is conveint for you to come
Well we have had quite a husefull the last two weeks, but we are alone now all but Nettie she is going to stay all winter. Agness and Bedford and their boy, Lizzie and Walter and their little girl and Nettie all came to the Golden wedding we had quite a company. We would like to have had all the family but they could not come, we had a letter from Thom he does not know what he will do this winter as work is slack out there thinks he may come back to the prairie Morris thinks if he can sell out there he may come back to Alberta to, Marian does not like it where she is
how is Millie’s little girl now I am sorry she has been so sick but hope she is better by this time. we had a lovely fine spell of weather this fall it has been warmer than it was in August how does Aubry like the N W is he going to stay all winter. I dont see much of Daves folk now they are all so busy
Well we have got through with the exhibition and it was a very good show George got quite a lot of prizes for things likely you will see something about it in the News. Laura wants to know if you could come home to get the hind leg of the turkey at Christmas, if you cant come then come any time you can we would like to get acquanted with our new daughter, she would be almost frightened to see so many my hand is so shaky I will have to stop wishing you health wealth and hapiness I remain your loving Mother
